Michelle lives in Colorado. She had her start as a public school educator. When the Heidemann family was called into homeschooling, they were introduced to the Principle Approach method of teaching as a result of interviewing for a job at a local Principle Approach school in Colorado. Michelle has taught in many different educational disciplines for 20 years but now enjoys teaching her boys at home. She says, “What I thought was just an excellent education for my children became a remarkable pathway for an ever deepening relationship with God for the whole family!” Michelle has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in curriculum and instruction as well as training in Principle Approach methodologies and applications. Michelle also trains, encourages, and networks with others in a small homeschool group.
Watts said, "We ought to bring our minds free, unbiased and teachable, to learn our religion from the Word of God." Humility is a prerequisite of teachableness. We must be willing to acknowledge to our pride that we do not know everything and then be willing to seek out godly mentors and teachers whose lives bear the fruit of righteousness. Our willingness to set aside our presuppositions will determine the impact instruction will make upon our hearts and minds. Scriptural Foundations: Proverbs 28:26, 26:12; 1 Cor 8:2; 1 Peter 5:5-6.

This is an ongoing battle. There are days when we will find we need a definate 'attitude adjustment'. Realign and realign and realign.
