Michelle lives in Colorado. She had her start as a public school educator. When the Heidemann family was called into homeschooling, they were introduced to the Principle Approach method of teaching as a result of interviewing for a job at a local Principle Approach school in Colorado. Michelle has taught in many different educational disciplines for 20 years but now enjoys teaching her boys at home. She says, “What I thought was just an excellent education for my children became a remarkable pathway for an ever deepening relationship with God for the whole family!” Michelle has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in curriculum and instruction as well as training in Principle Approach methodologies and applications. Michelle also trains, encourages, and networks with others in a small homeschool group.
No idea. The "Comparison ot Two Educational Approaches" is fantastic. Very enlightening. I'm confused about the "Educational Philosophy Chart" that I am meant to be filling in along the way. Each study I keep thinking this will be explained later, but it hasn't been. Don't know how to come up with a Biblical Principle nor a Leading Idea with respect to these items. How do each of the lessons relate to filling in this chart? (I used to think I was fairly bright, but maybe I was just conditioned to fill in the right blanks on the test. This thinking thing isn't so easy.) :) I would love a discussion just about this chart we are asked to complete.
